Summary

We collect what we need to run X3 Maritime for your company, we do not sell personal information, and you can export or delete your company's records.

What we collect

Account details: name, email, phone, company name, time zone and your text-message preference.

Workspace records you enter: vessels, sites, people, credential dates, test records, permits, drills, plans and incidents. For drug and alcohol records we store only what X3 Marine Testing asks for (dates, reasons and results), never medical history.

Billing details are handled by Stripe; we receive your subscription status and the last four digits of your card, never the full card number.

Basic technical logs such as IP address and browser type, used for security and to keep the service working.

How we use it

To provide and secure the service, send the reminders you ask for, process payments, answer support requests and improve the products. We use aggregated, de-identified statistics only.

Who we share it with

Service providers that run X3 Maritime on our behalf: Cloudflare (hosting and database), Stripe (payments), our email and SMS providers, and the provider behind Ask X3 answers (questions you type are sent to it; do not include personal information in questions).

We share information when the law requires it. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context advertising.

Text messages

If you opt in, we send compliance reminders by text. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time.

Security

Passwords are stored as salted, slow hashes. Traffic is encrypted. Each company's data is kept separate and every change is logged.

Retention and your choices

We keep workspace records while your account is active and for 30 days after it ends so you can export them, then delete them except where the law requires us to keep them. You can ask for access, correction or deletion at [email protected].

Children

X3 Maritime is a business service and is not directed to anyone under 18.

We will post changes here and tell you in the product if a change is material.
