X3 Maritime

Terms of Service

Last updated October 25, 2026. Version 2026-08-22 of the X3 family terms.

Who we are

X3 Maritime is a family of software products operated by X3 Fleet Safety LLC ("X3", "we", "us"). These Terms of Service govern your use of x3maritime.com and every X3 Maritime product and dashboard.

What X3 Maritime is — and is not

X3 Maritime is decision support and record-keeping software. It organizes dates, records and evidence and shows what may be due under regulations you choose to track.

X3 Maritime is not legal advice, is not a substitute for a qualified marine chemist, competent person, Medical Review Officer, security officer, surveyor, auditor or attorney, and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the U.S. Coast Guard, OSHA or any government agency. You remain responsible for your own compliance and for every determination you make.

Your account

You must give accurate information when you create an account and keep your password secret. You are responsible for activity under your account and for the people you invite to your company workspace.

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract on behalf of your company.

Your data

You own the records you put into X3 Maritime. We process them only to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. Each company's workspace is separate; we do not share your records with other customers.

Do not upload Sensitive Security Information (SSI), protected health information beyond what a product asks for, or anything you are not allowed to share. You can export your records at any time.

Subscriptions and billing

Paid products are billed in advance each month or year through our payment processor, Stripe. Prices are shown on x3maritime.com and include a monthly minimum per product. Yearly plans cost ten months of the monthly price.

Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from Settings, Billing; access continues to the end of the paid period. Fees already paid are not refundable except where the law requires. Third-party fees (for example laboratory, collection, survey or filing fees) are billed by those providers.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service: no attempts to access other companies' data, reverse engineer, overload or disrupt the service, or use it for anything unlawful.

Ask X3

Ask X3 answers questions about published regulations using automated tools. Answers can be incomplete or wrong. Always confirm against the official eCFR and the issuing agency before acting.

Availability and changes

We work to keep the service available but do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change features and these terms; if a change is material we will tell you in the product or by email before it takes effect.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, X3 is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, fines, penalties or detention of any vessel. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Ending the agreement

You can stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or end accounts that break these terms. When an account ends you can request an export of your records for 30 days.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
